Submitting Artwork for the Print Store

Last Updated: Jul 03, 2012 06:48PM EDT
Q: Hey, I’m an artist and I would love to have some of my work in the print store!  How do I make this happen?

*NOTE: We are NOT accepting submissions at this time. We will make sure to spread the word when we are. Please do not send in any prints for consideration until then, but you can still refer to the following information pertaining to the submission process for when the time comes!*

A: We love fan artists and we’re always up for seeing what they’re creating.  If you’re interested in submitting a piece for consideration, here’s how:

1.       Finish your piece first!  It’s fun to see the in-progress stages, but we will never accept a piece for the print store until we can see the finished version.  You should be working at 300ppi and at a size that will print out pretty large.

2.       Send an email to rachel [at] whatpumpkin.com OR mspaquestions [at] gmail.com with the full resolution file (preferably in a .psd or other lossless filetype) as well as a smaller preview image, preferably a .jpg.  Make sure the subject line is “Print store submission for consideration” (or something similar).  Include your name, contact email, PayPal email and country of residence, please!

3.       Be patient!  The print store is updated on an infrequent and irregular basis, so it may be a while before you hear anything.  Double-checking after a week to make sure your email arrived is fine; constantly asking if you’re in the store is not.  We’ll get in touch!

That’s it!  Thanks for your interest!
